Built in line with Urban2 in a city plot in Paphos, OXYGEN stands in a four-story shape as a cubical, though semi-transparent volume.
The project investigates the relations between urban and private spaces through a double layered facade that filters both edges into one-another. Elements as green and meshes are put together on a grided structure in vertical planes.
Semi transparent intermediate spaces are transformed into small episodes of domestic life that project onto urban scapes. Vice versa, city scapes integrate gradually towards the privacy of everyday life.
A residence is where public ends and private begins. The interval between is a space that communicates with both instances in a result of awareness, balance and a communal notion of living.
